| It's amazing how so many Asians are on Xanga.
Work is building up again | | |
| Writing essays due on several days does not motivate me to complete it somehow
.
I need to fix my corset, the one tiny little grommet out of place is starting to become unnerving,
even though it is rarely worn out.
Vinyl corsets are beautiful things, but far too impractical.
Impractical sums up a lot of things neatly, however.
One might say drinking to be impractical, as in that time of intoxication when one could be reading cultured books, exercising, or appreciating not spouting a flurry of exited gibberish to the closest passerby.
It is however, quite fun.
We step down into Orchard, Din and I to see little twinkling lights bedecked everywhere, and about the same amount of people, complete with video cameras and children on tow. Tonight is a parade and everyone wants to see it.
We walk past gaggles of families, too busy staring at the chinese acrobats to notice anything else, and i bump shoulders like a tourist and am mesmerized by the little children totting gleefully in sync on the parade route with giant paper heads.
We meet Din's friend and his newly acquainted lady friend, who was pretty, held sparkling conversation and could cuss like a sailor. Drinks were had by all on this night, though the boy and I didn't get started until later. I have realized why it is a bad idea to become screaming drunk, or 'crunk' as frat boys would call it. One would think one too many bad experiences would do it, but in reality, it is experiencing bad experiences from another indirectly that really wants to make you sign your name on the dotted line of the Alcoholics Anonymous application form.
Everything seems crazier when you're drunk. You feel wild, cool, loud and social. Your ass does not look fat in the mirror. Hello new person, watch me charm you with my wit. From the outside, it's hard to relate to if one isn't in a similar state of intoxication.
Never again. At least until next Saturday.
Also, as a personal grieve, if you have just recently met your new lady friend and like her but feel it is not reciprocated Friend of Din, you win her over with expensive material things and humiliate your ego for her gratification, not stick your tongue down her throat when she is too intoxicated to tell that We Were Not Talking About Math. | | |

The photoshoot/video i'm planning is gonna be so aweosmeee!
It will contain little girls and if i have my way, an abysmal amount of lace and false lashies.
And some other stuff.
On another note, i saw a car plow straight into a motorcycle, and a guy fly about 5 feet up before crashing down a couple of meters away on asphalt and not move for a while. He got up though and started acting very violent. His bike was totalled. The car which hit him screeched away. I hate irresponsible jerks who can't drive. I hope the guy will be okay and hopefully less violent, though it was totally understandable

because intelligance and the ability to recall trivial facts not used in everyday conversation but appropriate for the surreal crime scene theme of the episode is real shexy.
I hope the gallery thing works out, it would be cool to have several exhibits under my belt before i finish the course.

We went on the last day to see the hong kong comic exhibit, which decided to close a day early. bah.
